Camden La Frontera Apartments

I was charged $200 upon moving out. I had no pets, didn't wear shoes inside, and lived there for 9 months. However, I was still charged for the cost of wall paint. Additionally, I've had an issue with a mentally unstable neighbor living below me. Despite multiple complaints to the police, they insist I should contact the apartment leasing office. I've called the police about five times, and each time, they tell me to contact the leasing office. Since the unstable neighbor isn't actually committing a crime, the police claim there's nothing they can do. Consequently, whenever the neighbor becomes threatening, I'm forced to contact the leasing office. However, the leasing agents simply repeat that I should call the police. It's become a frustrating cycle. How many more times do I need to call the police before Camden agents take action, and is there a better way to handle this situation?

my friend loves it here as far as living quality. Maintenance is great here. i was considering moving here too, but went for a walk with my resident friend who told me not to leave this but … a dog called “lexi” at building 13 is quite horrible and the owners just let her scream at every living being. apparently nothin will be done about it. so i’ll go where people don’t let their animals scream

There is no way all of these 5 star reviews are legit, ha, I noticed that some of the staff here are the ones leaving the glowing reviews! Here’s the reality of Camden La Frontera-the property is absolutely filthy and completely run down. The grounds are disgustingly unsanitary. My building has not been cleaned in over 2 years. I am unable to walk from my car to my apartment door without stepping in either bird excrement or spilled garbage. The following issues have been brought to management multiple times and nothing has been done to remedy any of it: multiple years worth of bird excrement piled up, bags of trash and trash cans left out in the common corridors and breezeways 24/7, spilled garbage and garbage stains lining common hallways and stairwells, spiderwebs, bird nests, wasp nests, overflowing dumpsters, barking dogs, the list goes on. The patios are unsightly, many tenants basically use their patios as storage units, the hail damaged screens from almost 3 months ago have not been repaired or replaced, dog feces is frequently not picked up, there are no security cameras, packages are stolen regularly, cars broken into, security gates frequently inoperable. My stove top has not operated properly for 3 years, I have requested repair 9 times, it never actually gets fixed so I just can’t use one of the burners. This place was actually quite nice when I moved in 5 years ago but It gets worse with every passing day.

I’ve been at Camden going on 3 years and knowing nothing will be perfect the entire team at Camden has made my personal experience in the community a joy and have countlessly gone above to make my apt feel like a home. Couldnt ask for a better place to live in. You literally have everything u need in a 5 mile radius, great school and yet still quiet at nights. Huge thanks to Joaquin for his hard work and friendly persona much respect my guy.
